Officials from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Federal Emergency
Management Agency (FEMA), and local units of the National Guard and Riverside
County Emergency Management Authorities are confirming reports that those exhibiting
flu like syptoms- usually followed by a trance like state and then unprovoked violence-
are under the influence of a as of yet unknown virus. While officials are at this time
hesitant to speculate on the origin of this virus, they are confident that it is most likely
passed from host to victim by means of bodily fluid, most notably blood or saliva, and
they caution those who are uninfected to exercise extreme caution when in the vicinity of
anyone exhibiting any of the aforementioned symptoms.
Federal and State officials are recommending that those not in a secure and "defensible"
location proceed quickly and with all possible caution to a secure, local emergency
evacuation facility.
Sector Alpha of The Day31 Evacuation Facility is presently secure and will be accepting
civilian evacuees on October 28th, 29th and 31st. All evacuees must submit to a full
body visual bite and laceration inspection before being admitted into secure Sector
Alpha. Those exhibiting any visual signs of illness or epidermal laceration will be diverted
to non secure Sector Bravo for further evaluation.
